Cola Boy - 7 Ways To Love (Chadroy Dempsey Remix)
This tune was a bit of a classic back in the early 90's I think, with Cola Boy being an alter-ego of Saint Etienne in fact. The original version wasn't bad at all, but I've opted for the 2006 house remix which gives it a more modern sound. Most of the original elements are still there though, and this may get bigger over the summer, although it is damn elusive at the moment, and I could only find it on a vinyl promo!

Grooveland - Tell Me (Vocal Mix)
I first heard this tune as a dub mix, which in its own right is very good, but I have gone for the vocal mix on here as I think the vocal does add a little bit extra to the tune, and makes it more recognisable. After a few weeks of choosing trance tunes on here, this is a return to the funky house genre. This tune has potential to be a big hit, due to the catchy vocal and a slightly commercial sound, but I guess only time will tell!

Smith & Pledger - White
These guys are on form at the moment, this is their second offering on here in two months. This tune sees them returning to their more trademark trance sound, and its works brilliantly. The melody is so simple yet very effective and is uplifting and euphoric. This compares to the reverse side, which is called 'Black' and is meaner and dirtier, and worth a look over as well.

Nash - Dreams (Club Mix)
I seem to have been on a very trancey tip of late, and this is the third trance tune in a row that has got the nod. It's tough to describe this one, it features a very stirring breakdown with what sounds like a sample from a film (although I've no idea what film!). I thinks it's fair to say this is one of those tunes that is more than the sum of all its parts, nothing stands out especially, it just all works very well together.

Mr Sam feat Kirsty Hawkshaw - Insight (T4L Remix)
Quite simply the best trance tune I have heard this year so far. As simple as that. The vocals are breathtaking and the strings are almost tear-jerking at times. Absoluely gorgeous stuff, and the original, which is more of a house based affair, is worth checking out too.

Smith & Pledger present Aspekt - Hi-Jack (Vocal Mix)
You can always rely on these guys to provide a quality production, and this is no exception. A slight change of sound from their normal melodic uplifting trace, this is moodier and emotional, verging on house in some respects. It is absolutely beautiful though, and shows they have more strings to their bow than just churning out banging trance tunes!

Beatfreakz - Somebody's Watchin' Me
Not the most underground of tunes this one, but it certainly does the business! Sampling an old Michael Jackson tune, it is very catchy and is due to enter the charts this week. I thought that the fascination with sampling all things 80's would die off being as we've had it all through 2005, but it still seems to be going strong, and who cares when it gets a dancefloor going like this one does!
